The Survey tool offers you five different academic surveys with which you can assess the learning experience of your students. These surveys are not graded activities and the questions are preset. We are not sure that all of them are available in Finnish translation, so we suggest that if you wish to use a survey in your course, that you check it out before opening it to students.
To add a Survey to your course, you select the Survey activity from the drop down list. A simple settings page will open asking for a name and presenting you with a drop down list from which to select one of five surveys (see the help button for explanations about the types).
When you have selected a survey, you will be shown the introduction page, which is editable, so you can translate it into your target language. After saving the introduction, you will then be shown the questions, which can be multiple choice (ATTLS), or open questions (Critical incidents), or both (COLLES). The different surveys present their results in different ways.
